Overnight Truck & Inventory Support Team Member

Position Overview

The Overnight Truck & Inventory Support Team Member is responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking product deliveries that arrive during late-night or early-morning hours. This role ensures all products are accurately put away, properly rotated, and any discrepancies are clearly communicated to leadership to support smooth daily operations.

This position plays a critical role in food safety, inventory accuracy, and setting the team up for success each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and put away overnight truck deliveries in a timely and organized manner
• Verify delivered product against invoices and packing lists
• Organize freezer, cooler, and dry storage areas according to Chick-fil-A standards
• Rotate product properly (FIFO) and ensure correct labeling and dating
• Notify leadership of missing, damaged, shorted, or incorrect product immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
• Follow all food safety, temperature control, and security procedures
• Communicate clearly with leadership before the store opens regarding delivery status

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work overnight or early-morning hours (truck arrival dependent)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold/freezer environments
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Basic understanding of inventory or willingness to learn
• Prior restaurant, warehouse, or stocking experience preferred (not required)

Schedule

• Overnight / early morning shifts
• Frequency and hours based on delivery schedule

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, lifting, and carrying for extended periods
• Exposure to walk-in cooler and freezer temperatures
