Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technician with 1-3 years of experience, NJ RT license, and ARRT certification for an acute care radiology department.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital radiology department serving diverse patient populations
• Shift is 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 nights per week, on a rotating 7 week schedule
• No on-call required
• Travelers may float to a sister hospital as needed
• Utilizes a variety of imaging equipment and EPIC charting system
• Perform and provide imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain and ensure the safe operation of all imaging equipment
• Monitor and assess patient safety, physical and physiological comfort during procedures
• Coordinate and revise procedures as needed based on patient and operational factors
• Assignment duration is limited to one calendar year, requiring a 30-60 day break before return

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography School
• Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Demonstrated skills in equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and care
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
